He got the Diploma in Horn in 1976 at the “G.Frescobaldi” Conservatoire in Ferrara with full marks, under MºMario Gessi’s guidance.
The same year, he participated as First Horn at the specialization course as Orchestra Professor at the “Fenice Theatre” in Venice holded by M° Franco Ferrara.

In 1977 he won national competitions advertised by the RAI Radiotelevisione Italiana in the Symphonic Orchestras of Torino and Milano and he was fit with special mention at the competition of the Regio Theatre of Torino.
In 1977 he took part as Second Horn, in the Symphonic Orchestra of the RAI Milano and from June 1982 as First Horn, nowadays he has the same position at the National Symphonic Orchestra created after the fusion of the four Orchestras occurred in September 1994 with seat in Torino.
In 1992 he became also First Horn of the Permanent Orchestra Foundation “G.Donizetti” in Bergamo, now named “Bergamo Musica Festival”.

Moreover, he co-operates with Lyrical-Symphonic Bodies such as: Teatro alla Scala and Phylarmonic Orchestra, “A.Toscanini”di Parma,”Pomeriggi Musicali”di Milano,”Omnia Symphony Orchestra”, Svizzera Italiana Orchestra, “Camerata Ducale”di Vercelli etc.
He has an intense activity for what concerns the Chamber Music, and also as Soloist with different groups such as: “Divertimento Ensemble” di Milano, Wind Octet “Musica Aperta” Bergamo, “Il Quartettone”, Camera Orchestra of the Piano Festival of Brescia and Bergamo,”Carme” etc.
recording different CD and playing in the most important Festivals in: United States, Japan, Latin America, Spain, France, Germany etc.

From 1995 to 1997 he holded the Chair of Horn of the “F.Venezze” Conservatoire of Rovigo, from 1997 to 1999 at the Offically Recognized School “G.Donizetti”of Bergamo, from 2004 to 2006 at the “G.Cantelli” Conservatoire of Novara, from 2007 to 2008 at the “L.Marenzio”Conservatoire of Darfo Boario Terme, and from 2009 at present he teaches at the “G.Cantelli” Conservatoire of Novara.
