Meeting with
Giuseppe Caliceti, Daniela Terranova and Roberto Andreoni
Giuseppe Caliceti has the great capacity to communicate with children and understand the significant nuances of their answers; for this reason, we have involved him in one of the central projects of this season: reflection on the theme of migration. We asked him to urge children at primary school in Reggio Emilia, to reflect on migration and on the terrible news that every day we read or hear about migrants.
Divertimento Ensemble commissioned Daniela Terranova and Roberto Andreoni to compose two pieces based on a text written by children. The two compositions are for a children’s choir and ensemble and they will have their first performance on May 21 at the Teatro Litta. In this meeting, the curator of the texts and the two composers speak of their experience with this project.
