Divertimento Ensemble has dedicated an international contest to young composers under 35. Twelve composers will be selected to take part in the workshop. Their scores will be discussed, commented, studied and performed during the eight workshop days by Divertimento Ensemble, its conductor Sandro Gorli and – as tutors – the composers Mauro Lanza e Alessandro Solbiati.
Some activities will be open to the public: three concerts (the opening one, with musics by the tutors, and the two concerts performing the pieces by the young composers) and the masterclasses.
Three compositions will furthermore be selected for subsequent performances and shall be included in the Rondò 2017 concert season.
