Back for the second consecutive year, the amateur chorus Le Nuove Voci of Divertimento Ensemble, founded last year for the performance of a new piece by Alessandro Solbiati and a key player this year in the performance of the new score by Gabriele Manca on texts by Rachid Boudjedra, Lettres comme à l’envers: a reflection – citing the composer – on “disorientation, the strangeness, the distance of those who leave everything and everyone for the simple dream of surviving better … a tribute to all those women, those men and those children who after endless wanderings reach only our distance “.
For the fourth time in this edition of Rondò, composer in residence Vittorio Montalti returns to us with a new piece commissioned by Divertimento Ensemble. Fury II, written by Rebecca Saunders in 2009, a double bass and ensemble version of the piece Fury, for solo bass, written in 2005, will conclude the program.
