Daniele Fasani was born in Milan in December 1994. At the age of nine he was admitted to the choir of Teatro alla Scala, where he remained until 2008. In 2004 he began his piano studies. In 2015 he obtained a bachelor’s degree, with highest marks possible and a commendation from the Institute of Musical Studies “G. Donizetti” in Bergamo. Currently he is continuing his studies in the same institute with Maria Grazia Bellocchio, as well as in Scuola di Musica di Fiesole with Elisso Virsaladze.
He has appeared in numerous exhibitions organized by Scuola Civica in Milan (Musei a Cielo Aperto, Notti Trasfigurate), the International Festival “Youth of the Planet” and, in Manchester (UK), the Chetham International Piano Summer School. As an accompanist he has taken part in many master classes of flautist Raffaele Trevisani.
He won first prize at the Competitions “Città of Piove di Sacco”, “Premio Vittoria Caffa Righetti” and “G. Rospigliosi” second prize at the International competitions “Città di Albenga” “Giorgio e Aurora Giovannini”, and third prize in the first edition of Kreisleriana International Competition in Monza.
He has performed for: Circle of Bologna Officers, School of Music “Claudio Abbado” of Milan, Bergamo Conservatory, Conservatory of Novara, Divertimento Ensemble, Gallerie D’Italia of Naples, Milan and Vicenza, School of Music “A. Mozzati “of Mezzago, Cremona Pianoforum (in collaboration with Bergamo Conservatory), Sporting Club Monza, Milano Piano City, Casa Armena Milano, Fazioli Pianoforti (Note in Volo a Malpensa), Piedicavallo Music Festival, the Venice Biennale (Biennale College Musica 2015), University of Milano-Bicocca, Iseo Classica, Palazzo Cavagnis of Venezia, Monferrato Classic Festival. In April 2016 he played at the Sala Arte Povera of the ‘900 Museum in duet with Filippo Gorini as part of the season of Divertimento Ensemble dedicated to the composer Niccolò Castiglioni. On 21st of May 2016 he went on air on Radio 3 together with other two pianists fron CFYP 2016. Currently he is rehearsing four contemporary music chamber operas commissioned by Biennale di Venezia as the project “Biennale College Musica 2016”.
He has attended masterclasses and lessons with Alexander Lonquich, Peter Donohoe, Vladimir Tropp, Alicja Fiderkiewicz and Stefania Redaelli.
He studied harpsichord with Maestro Sergio Vartolo at the Conservatory of Bergamo.
He is currently studying Physics at the University of Milan-Bicocca.
He also attended composition courses with Giovanni Verrando, Ruggero Laganà, Pieralberto Cattaneo and Adam Gorb.
