Corrado Colliard has graduated in trombone and tuba. He plays both ancient music instruments (classical and Renaissance trombones, serpent, ophicleide) and modern music instruments (trombone and euphonium).
He works with several ancient music ensembles (“La Pifarescha”, “Concerto Italiano”, “Ensemble Pian & Forte”, “Accademia Bizantina”, la “Venexiana”, “Barocchisti” ecc.).
As a specialist in avant-garde music, he has often been invited to play “Sequenza…” by L.Berio. He is part of Divertimento Ensemble and also performs as trombone soloist with them.
Renowned national and international institutions have invited him to hold master classes and workshops.
Currently he teaches trombone and euphonium at Guido Cantelli Conservatory in Novara.
He plays on Courtois and Besson instruments.
